Dunes Inn Sunset

I thought the room was very clean and looked nothing like what I expected at $90. Bathrooms were very clean and the staff were nice and accommodating.

Good hotel for stay in...

Liked: Good location, on food you can reach walk of fame, metro station and bus to the Griffith Observatory. We felt safe there, with a security guy watching of the cars. There is Target supermarket nearby, but with limited supply. The room was not very big, but for a short stay it was ok.

Liked: We had a warm welcome, and we especially appreciated the flexibility of the staff, since we were quite surprised to discover that there was no luggage storage available, unlike almost every other hotel we’ve stayed at around the world. That being said, the person at the front desk in the morning did their best to find us a solution, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it’s a fairly basic place, but it does the job. The value for money is average, nothing more and nothing less. The only real improvement needed would be to add a luggage storage area, as this is the international standard.
