Liked: Dinner and drinks were excellent, room comfortable and relaxed feeling.
Disliked: Bar staff left the hifi on after the last bar and dining room guests had left and I had to get out of bed to go downstairs to ask for it to be turned off around 11.30pm. This upset my sleeping pattern. The staff were polite but maybe inexperienced in how to manage a bar late at night and not aware of how sound travels in an old building once everything else goes quiet. I've stayed there before and it was great so hopefully this was an isolated mistake.

Worth going to, an excellent...

Liked: Great location for the work in the area. It is a quirky place but then is what old properties are like. Good on-site parking, a super restaurant and the best of service. Breakfast was included and great quality.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The Dun Cow is a traditional Inn, comfortable and friendly. Good food and beer, efficient staff.

Liked: Everything about our stay was exceptional. The staff were professional, efficient, and friendly. They are a real asset to the pub. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Its very reasonably priced. We ate in the restaurant that evening, and the food and service were second to none. The breakfast next morning was cooked fresh and excellent. We would thoroughly recommend the Dun Cow Inn Sedgefield. We liked it so much that we have booked 2 nights later on this year
