Liked: Location good.
Disliked: Didn’t realise that it was a hotel catering for coach parties. Room 1 was very noisy as it was directly under the main staircase so we could hear people going up and down it very clearly. Disturbing late into the evening. We were told on arrival that breakfast started at 0730 so we arrived at the dining room then to be told that it started at 0800. This was disappointing as we wanted to get away quickly. Also the large number of coach people made the buffet style breakfast serving very slow indeed as only one staff member was dishing everything out. The standard of the food was also poor - cold chewy bacon, black pudding dried out. We left as soon as possible.

Disliked: Because I booked a twin room, Booking.com thought I was a couple when I clearly had not booked for two people. Unfortunately, this misinformation was passed on to the hotel's computer system!

Disliked: Restaurant service poor, breakfast cold, coffee brought when asked for tea, dirty cups, dinner overcooked. Mold in bathroom, WiFi not provided, main entrance floor easy to trip on
