Liked: The best thing about Sonder's Tribeca location is the location and the staff. The location was convenient for where I needed to go for a conference, and the staff were super sweet and accommodating and responsive. I liked the option to store my luggage before checkin or after checking out which was very convenient.
Disliked: Too many things! For the price Sonder's charges (the same as a hotel!) I expect more. My room was NOT cleaned every day. I requested it and they said they made a note but when I returned that night, it was still not cleaned. I had to request cleaning three times and no one told me I should schedule it on the app. The second annoying thing is the APP!!! Seriously who need another app for just this one hotel on their phone?? It's super inconvenient and irritating to have to deal with the app everytime I need to enter or exit my room.Third, my room was on the 6th floor and two big A/C vents pointed directly to the bed. The fan in the console was set to HIGH and there was no way to turn it down! So the air vent was blowing on my face and it gave me a headache and a cold. They don't even have an electric kettle in the room so I had to run down everytime I wanted hot water. I think they could provide a few more basic things at the facility like a yoga mat and free weights if someone wanted to do a bit of exercise. Overall, hotel rates but NOT hotel comforts. I cannot recommend this place.

Liked: Near subway station, bed was comfortable, AC worked well, able to link your streaming accounts to the TV, amenities like toiletries etc provided.
Disliked: Lobby is currently under renovation. Only 1 lift and you can't tell what floor it is on, so sometimes the wait is long. Shower water pressure was quite sad.

Disliked: Noone is ever at reception. The building doesnt feel safe. The reception looks like a building site. The room was dirty.

Liked: Room was perfect for my needs. Comfortable bed and bathroom that was very clean and nice design.Staff that I dealt with at the hotel were all lovely.
Disliked: There was construction going on around the front of the hotel and lobby area although this didn't really affect me as I was on the 4th floor.

Disliked: My first room had a broken AC unit - which was more than rough. So the moved us to another room. With a second broken AC unit that didn't have a functional thermostat. Meaning we had to get up 3-4 times a night to turn the darn thing on and off.
