Room cleaning costs $40

Liked: Location and staff are nice
Disliked: Room cleaning cost $40 and I did not know. It was not clear at booking. And you need to request one day in advance. Not recommended staying more than a few nights.

Great hotel with an elevator,...

Liked: The location was perfect—just a two-minute walk to the ACE blue subway line and three minutes to the red 123 line. The room was clean, and the staff was amazing. Check-in was done through the Sonder app, and everything was super easy.I liked that hot water for showering was always available and that the air conditioning worked well. The room size was also perfectly adequate.
Disliked: The room door doesn’t seal properly, so every small noise can be heard when someone walks down the hallway or enters their room. The bed was broken and creaked a lot. The mattress is quite hard.

Mediocre

Disliked: The showerhead had a problem where ittl didn't evenly spray. The curtain barely reaches the tub so it was hard to not get water on the floor. Layout of room wasn't good and there was very little counter space .

Worn out, tired, busted and...

Liked: The pictures are VERY flattering. Anyway: very tired, worn-out place. My friends were staying at the Warwick a one-minute walk away and I was so irritated because they paid less and their rooms were so fresh and chic and well-appointed. And they had housekeeping. For 500 USD a night I had no housekeeping. Oh, and I’m a top-tier Bonvoy member. But the Sonder doesn’t care.

Dissapointing for what we pay..

Liked: the location
Disliked: I didn’t like that we have to download an app for check in and everything, they make things just to complicated for the traveler. They did not clean the room and the room was VERY small.. we didn’t even had space for our bags. We pay way too much for what we received
