Liked: I didn't like anything about this motel. If you're looking for a run-down, trashy place to stay paired with unprofessional customer service, this is your place!
Disliked: I paid for a double room with two queen beds with an oceanfront view. I received a double room with two double beds with a view of the pool. The room smelled stale and musty. The door handle was falling off of the door, leading to the pool area inside of our room. Not being able to properly secure the room is a big deal to me. I expect to be able to sleep knowing I am safe. The staff admitted to only having full-size beds on the property. They FALSLEY ADVERTISED the queen beds. They have updated their listing to reflect the proper size since it was brought to their attention. They could not provide me with the accommodations that I paid for, and they refused to refund my money. When I expressed my disappointment with the man at the front desk, he stated...." That's what you get for using Booking, call and complain to them!" I ended up scrambling around late at night to find another hotel room. DRIFTWOOD BEACH RESORT CAUSED A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE in what was supposed to be a trip to relax. In the end, they failed to provide the accommodations that I paid for. They successfully stole money from me for accommodations they did not provide.

Liked: Location on the beach was the only redeeming factor and the staff upon check in was pleasant!
Disliked: It was dirty, doors were broken or in poor repair. Secondary or the chain lock on the door was broken… I was charged a premium to stay there through booking.com. We found out the price of the property rental on the properties website was half what I was charged…
