DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Penn Station NJ

When we arrived the lights were out due to a power failure in Newark, but everyone was very accommodating and friendly throughout our brief stay. Prudential Center just a few blocks away, making it very convenient for my son and I, both Devils fans.

Liked: Everyone very friendly.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Below average

Liked: Close to train station. Complimentary shıttle service to/from Newark airport.
Disliked: Traffic noise in the rooms. Staff not helpful. No room-service. Room carpets are not clean.

Nice location, nice accommodations, clean...

Liked: We had a great stay. The room was clean. The staff was nice. Some staff was not friendly, but other staff was fine. Location was great! Food options very close by.

Good

Liked: It was near the Train Staition, the room was big and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Shuttle service had to be called, we waited for an hour because they said they run every 20 min, couldn't call cause we didn't have service and had to take a taxi.Half the front desk staff was not enjoying their job and weren't very friendly. They looked tired and bothered by having to help the guests.

Disliked: The facility was not the most modern one, but satisfactory

Exceptional

Clean room, nice location.

Liked: Room was clean, location was very central and right in front of the train station. Neighborhood had nice Brazilian and Portuguese restaurants, which was an unexpected bonus.
Disliked: There was a lot of dust underneath the treadmill in the gym, which is understandable, but while using the mat on the floor to exercise, it was visible.
