Will never stay again

Liked: The friendliness of the young lady who checked us out - finally felt like a Hilton employee.
Disliked: Too many things. Staff were basic. Location was terrible, surrounded by homeless people. Room was small and squashy. Smell of cannabis everywhere including hallways - all hotels should be smoke free. House-keeping trolley's blocking hall and I had to move it myself to get past with my bag. Rooftop Bar cocktails were not made well for the price paid. Not at all Hilton Hotel standard yet tipping is expected - insane!

Super friendly staff and a...

Liked: Staff were super friendly,I felt safe in a big city.
Disliked: Confusion around using the room card to access the elevator,this was not explained and at first I had to find a staff member to access the restroom that I needed to use when in reception.

They charged me consumptions I...

Liked: Very little. The bed and the pillows and the welcome cookies.
Disliked: After check out, in the afternoon they charged me for 2 waters I didnt consume from the minibar. This made me feel defenseless, the same they could have charged me the whole minibar when I didnt take absolutely nothing. This on top of 50 dollars deposit they charged and they did not refund meLot of small details in addition where disappointing: breakfast poor, room size smaller than stated, shower with a strange design not fine for tall people in which I hit myself in the head couple of times, floor rug dirty and with bad poor smell, havoc of people to get an elevator, poor gym facilities etc etc I usually dont give bad reviews but I felt like this hotel deserved this from me.

Nice room and amenities in...

Liked: Nice room and amenities , conveniently placed in NYC easy to get to all the tourist spots. Room is decently priced for the location.
Disliked: Property double charged me, called twice to get my money back and no solution was given. Messaged on booking.com and got no response, very frustrating experience.
