Best place to stay in...

Liked: Was booked into a garden view room which I didn’t like so was moved to a beautiful castle room. Great wallpaper and beautiful bed (same as mine at home) good linen and loved the bed. Great night sleep. Restaurant is amazing and good whiskeys in the bar. Buffet breakfast excellent.
Disliked: The seals around the bath need attention.

Liked: Thank you. The staff is per excellence. My birthday has been spectacular. Everyone went out of their way to make our day special.The food is excellent and locally sourced. We had the risotto rice 🍚 and the hacke fish with wild garlic.The breakfast has been so delicious too and the Tschibo Kaffee simply the best.The fire is so relaxing in the lobby and it's so easily accessible including the lovely cathedral.We feel relaxed, happy and we made great memories.Thank you staff and thank you to the Maître.Merci Dankeschön Kittos

Lovely hotel in a good...

Liked: Location was excellent, near the golf course and walking distance to all the attractions in Dornoch. Quality of the food ingredients was good. The ambience in the bar and restaurant was lovely, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful
Disliked: Good selection of quality charcuterie and smoked fish, but only served fried eggs and bacon for hot food at breakfast. Didn't offer to cook eggs in any other way even though I asked for scrambled egg to go with the salmon.
