Liked: the Location of this hotel is its only positive
Disliked: The hotel from the moment you walk in smells bad. Carpets in the common areas smell like they haven't been cleaned in years and are visibly dirty. The hotel needs alot of work and a major revamp to keep up with its competitors. It was a serious let down. More needs to be done in Swansea to control the population of the Seagulls, the central location (my only positive) did have a downside which was the noise and mess created by the large population of nuisance seagulls on the doorstep and living on the roofs of neighbouring properties - not the fault of the hotel but displeasing nonetheless and led to a week of very bad nights of sleep.

Liked: Great location for shops, bars and the seafront was a 10 minute walk. Staff were exceptional.

Disliked: Large Towel rail in bathroom was hot beyond belief couldn't be turned off reception said it was on a timer but it never switched off it was like a large radiator on a very hot night . It's got no carpark and no drop off area so you have to walk a fair way with baggage and could be issue if elderly or weather is bad

Budget

Liked: Friendly staff, central location and comfy bed with clean linen. Kettle in room.
Disliked: Room stank of cigarettes despite the "no smoking" sign. No aircon or a fan so had to have the window open, letting in noise until gone 3am due to the location.
