Passable

Disappointing

Liked: The staff were nice, whoever was at the desk would always say good morning, good night or have a nice day to me and my partner. The fan was also in good condition which was nice for the hot weather.
Disliked: Can’t adjust the shower height it kept slipping back down so I had to sit on the floor to have a shower which was kind of uncomfortable also the shower head was dirty when we got there, looks like it hasn’t been replaced/cleaned for a while. I know it’s uncontrollable but you can really hear/feel the underground pass under the hotel and this would usually happen every 10/20 minutes not the best for when I was trying to sleep. I paid for a double bed for me and my partner but there was a massive dip in the middle that’s when we realised it was just two single beds tied together with a single sheet which was not very comfortable.Was kind of annoyed breakfast wasn’t included after the amount I paid for two nights in the hotel, I understand paying for bringing it to the room but I don’t think we should have to pay for the actual breakfast.

Very basic accommodation.

Liked: Breakfast wasn't too bad. Ladies serving breakfast were very nice.
Disliked: Very tired place. I think the tube ran directly under my bed. Man who greeted me at reception was terse and slow. The curtains didn't quite meet, and were relatively thin so did not exclude light fully.

We dont like your hotel.

Liked: Room was clean and there is a kettle
Disliked: There was no variety in breakfast. We stayed in no.272 room. We left the room in the morning and closed the door, but when we returned in the evening, we found the door open. We checked to see if our belongings had been stolen. Our belongings had not been stolen, but it was a very disturbing and unsettling situation. When we reported it to the staff, they treated it as if it was not an abnormal situation and did not care about it. They did not even check the cameras and did not provide us with any information.

Good

Liked: The location was very good. The staff were welcoming and friendly .
Disliked: There is no elevator and no luggage carrying service, so if you have heavy luggage , definitely you'll be in trouble!

Comfortable Stay

Liked: The bed was comfortable as was the room. . Excellent location.
Disliked: The shower had very hot water unable to use could not regulate to cold . Nevertheless this was the only issue.

Superb

Disliked: The pillows could have been better.

Very good

Liked: Brilliant for late flight in to Heathrow and train back to Wales from London and lots of cafes open late around it.

Tiring

Disliked: No lift no accessibility ( two rolls of stairs in between floors) , building smells and look old, I understand the vintage attempt but yeah is faaaaarr from that, need to increase air flow add some air fresheners, also family rooms in the third floor no lift? we suppose to open the luggage at the reception and get personal itens for the whole family? I believe if you a backpack traveller it is okay, more like a hostel hit and sleep than an actual hotel. Also prepare to travel back in time because that food machine in the photo it’s coins only. Space inside room is minimal as well, toilet incredibly small, and I am saying that because we were all girls and kids biggest of us being 5,4 f
