Good

Liked: The decoration is very nice and elegant. Room is very roomy.
Disliked: The bed is not very comfortable. Too soft for our liking. We both couldn’t sleep properly. The breakfast could start a bit earlier rather than from 8. Not possible to have a relaxing breakfast if you have an early start.

Pleasant stay in a decent...

Liked: Very friendly staff, good breakfast choices/food, nice lounge area with free tea/coffee/biscuits. Room was clean and had a large ensuite with walk in shower as well as a jacuzzi bath.The hotel is within easy walking distance of Boscombe beach and also Bournemouth itself.
Disliked: Room was very hot at first because a radiator, hidden behind a lattice panel, was still on and couldn't be accessed. Bearing in mind it was 25 degrees outside, this made the room way too hot. It took 24 hours to get this sorted.

Beautiful Hotel

Liked: Comfortable bed with plush carpet and curtains The room was clean and there was a good choice of food at breakfast. The breakfast service from Ana was excellent.
Disliked: Sadly, the area the hotel is located has declined as has Bournemouth itself.

Liked: We had a free upgrade for my other half's birthday and had the best room in the house it was stunning, clean and we really enjoyed the stay. Will definitely come back.

The hotel lived up to...

Liked: The building and rooms were as seen on booking.com. The reception and dining staff were always helpful and friendly. The room was serviced every day. The towels were replaced daily as were the bottled water, tea, coffee and biscuits in our room. The full English breakfasts were always freshly cooked. The community room and bar were always clean and comfortable, and tea, coffee and biscuits were always available within the hotel throughout the day. There were sets of patio furniture outside for guests to use whenever they wanted. The taxi service from the hotel reception desk into Bournemouth was excellent and the cost reasonable.
Disliked: If two guests were staying for more than a couple of nights then perhaps more than 3 coat hangers in the wall cupboard within the room would be useful as the drawers in the bedside cabinets and dressing table were of a smaller size.

Not much, but fair

Liked: Just stayed at this place, and it's alright if you're not expecting anything fancy. The rooms were basic, but they were clean enough, I guess. It was in a good spot for getting around, which was a plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made things easier. Honestly, it's fine for a quick trip if you just need a place to crash.
Disliked: Okay, so the rooms were pretty decent, nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. Just a heads-up, there's no air conditioning or mini-fridge, which is totally fine if you know before you go. The morning light situation was a bit intense, so bring a sleep mask if you're a light sleeper. Honestly though, for the price and overall vibe, it was still a good experience. I would recommend it.
