Lovely location and buildings but...

Liked: Beautiful building and grounds. Really nice leisure facilities. Love that it’s dog friendly.
Disliked: Rooms are a bit tired, bathrooms need a refresh and beds are small and uncomfortable. No modern amenities like air con or charging for phones. Kettle needed a wipe, mould in bathroom.

Liked: Dog friendly grounds and bar. Location
Disliked: Expensive bar, dog surcharge is more expensive than other locations. Room allocated was outdated and obviously allocated due to dog guest which is rather ironic given they add extra £30 per night for dog. Other places allocate a normal room and only charge if any issues. Food in restaurant is over priced for what you get. Tiny rump steak £21 and £4 extra for veg.

Liked: Lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Staff were friendly.
