Shocking and a waste of...
Liked: Price.
Disliked: Nothing. I spent 30 mins in the room before I asked for it to be changed. There was no other rooms and the room just wasn’t clean and wasn’t acceptable. I left after 30 mins and couldn’t be refunded. I found a different hotel and am deeply disappointed with days

Cheap and cheerful. Convenient location....
Liked: Very convenient location when travelling en route to ferry.Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: A lot of the parking is under trees, so my car was covered in fallout. The window seal was broken so the window wouldn't shut properly so there was constant traffic noise. There was only one pillow. The duvet was lumpy.

Always an experience
Liked: Good location, right on the doorstep you've got both the beautiful M3 and a Welcome Break service station, where you can enjoy expensive fuel, expensive food and cheap, lukewarm pastry products from Greggs. To counteract the rudderless pricing structure in the UKs motorway services, there's the gorgeous and very reasonably priced Days Inn. Friendly staff will greet you, check you in, encourage you to pop your registration number into the Parking Tablet Touch Screen, which is wonderfully unintuitive and not terribly touch sensitive (but does prevent you receiving a fine in the post). After thats all done, you can make your way to what can only be described as a room in a hotel. I loved the fact that it was equipped with a bed, and a bathroom of sorts with both hot and cold running water.
Disliked: Sadly, this hotel is more tired than the people who sleep in it. The bathroom, although functional, was mouldy and pretty much everything in it was broken, with the notable exception of the toilet seat. The shower taps were broken, although they did work just enough to spray water all over the bathroom when I tried to operate the shower, but this can be prevented through the use of a mouldy shower curtain. The hand soap dispenser fell off the wall when I used it.The fan sang the song of its people extremely loudly but failed to improve the real problem in the bathroom, which was the smell. Not in the "just used" kind of way, more in a "last used in 1993” sense. The smell of stagnant drain filled the room and sadly there wasn't much to do about it.The room itself was clean although in many ways beyond saving. The TV barely worked and didn't have a remote control anyway - although I'm sure I could've got one from reception, I didn't bother. The bed was essentially a bag of springs wrapped in fabric, with some nice lumpy pillows and a headboard so worn out that the fake wood was missing in places.Like all good hotels there's a chair, which is loud and uncomfortable - but a good place to sit and drink your morning hot drink from the tiny kettle. The tiny kettle in question was full of limescale and sat atop a strange little MDF shelf, no longer level because it has become so saturated with water over the years, there's a lump in the middle. It is, however, cheap, and I slept. Which I think is about all you can ask from this place.

Pleasant
Disliked: Rusty baths, tired look to hotel as a whole, considering price has doubled in the time o have been using this hotel I’d expect some improvements

Good
Liked: Comfy bed but the room is a bit dated. It looked better on the pictures and the TV connection wasn't very good but overall it was ok.

Hotel was ok, messed us...
Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Old shower gel bottle left in shower so not very thoroughly cleaned. Booked about a year in advance, checked in online before travelling. Then told a few days before booking that our stay was cancelled due to overbooking and we were offered a hotel 20+ miles away as the only alternative. Phoned up to complain and told the same. Manager then phoned back and said actually the room was available.
