Liked: Staff is very friendly, always enjoyed the staff & the neighboring rooms weren’t noisy. Checking in was fast as per usual.
Disliked: I had 4 spiders in my room. Spent 3 hours scared that the spider I failed to kill (the towels aren’t aerodynamic as I thought) was going to entrap me and feed me to its children. Luckily he showed his self and I won round two. Also the shaking from the freeway is very disruptive when you’re fearing for your life.

Liked: The only good thing was the bed. The bed, surprisingly was great.
Disliked: The room smelled SO BAD, like 20 years of stagnant air. This Hoel is right on the freeway, so expect a very loud experience. This hotel needs an upgrade in the worst way. Broken microwave, super old furniture. Flooring and finishes were cheap and mismatched. It's my fault, I was trying to save money. I spent two nights wishing I had spent more.

Overall, 7.5. Not bad.
Liked: The staff were outstanding. Helpful, kind, friendly. Location was where we needed to be. Room was bigger than expected and clean. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Some "adult" trash on the ground never picked up the entire week in the parking lot. Tub wouldn't drain properly, but it did drain slowly. Feet would be in a puddle of water. It is California, so I guess that is why it was pricier than expected.

Will not use Days Inn...
Liked: The Spa rooms are a bait and switch. The photos online do not match the room at all. There was plaster coming off the ceiling next to a large un-painted patch. Mold in the shower, and the water constantly changed from hot to cold. The spa tub was faded, cracked and dirty. It was worn through the top coat in several places. There was water damage signs on the carpet, appears to have been ignored for a long time. Switch plates were cracked and old. The few outlets in the room were difficult to use due to them being so worn out plugs don’t stay very well. The fridge stopped in the middle of the night because it came unplugged. The toilet would not refill on its own, we were told they knew and to use the lobby bathroom. They had turned off the shutoff valve so there was no water at all in the toilet when we got there. When I called the front desk with this info and asked for a different room I was told no. I said we were not comfortable staying and they notified me I could not cancel because I had checked in. So I was out the money no matter what. To top it off booking .com is refusing to help. With the lack of customer service this is definitely the last time I use ether of them. Days Inn booking thanks for nothing.
