Days Inn by Wyndham Marietta-Atlanta-Delk Road

In general I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else unless there were some maintenance issues taken care of and a new staff were hired who enjoyed customer service.

Disliked: I put the rating of "disappointing" not because I expected a 5 star hotel for the price that I paid but because I do expect for a hotel to be safe in all aspects and clean. We always get a hotel with a pool for entertainment for our kids because we don't have a lot of money to spend when we go somewhere but the pool was dirty and cloudy. Safety was definitely an issue. The bar to hold onto to walk down the steps into the pool was loose which is dangerous and the ladder to climb out of the pool was also loose. When I sat in one of the pool lounge chairs it cracked and I only weigh 145 lbs. There were a lot of lights in the walkways that were blinking constantly or just out. The rooms were not very clean, hence the roach we found, and the front desk people were not very friendly - like they would rather be somewhere else. Like I said I realize this was not a 5 star hotel, but I have been in one before that was just as old but the staff were super friendly, willing to do whatever needed to be done to make us, the paying customer, satisfied with our stay. Attitude goes a long way.

Liked: Room was advertised on website as having Refrigerator, Coffeee Maker, Clock, Hanging bar cor clothing, hooks for towels and many other nicities. When we got settled, the airconditioning unit made a horrible noise every time it turned on, it woke us up. Also, our key didn't work, so the clerk let us in and said if we had to leave the room, he would come and unlock it again for us. The Night staff was pleasant.The morning staff just said as to the missing items, "well, Wyndham doesn't require us to have those anymore, so we don't:.

Liked: Please visit this facility. I had to ask for a desk chair, they charged me $2 to use my credit card, the elevator did not work, and breakfast was a very small power bar and horrible coffee. I will not return to this facility!!!!

Disliked: In the middle of the night police came to the door beating on the door because they said they smelled Marijuana and demanded to search our room.When we compiled and they searched and didn't find anything the said that we flushed it and this time we got away with it. The police leaves and then the owner manager or whatever came beating on the door and at this point it's 3 am and demanded we leave without asking any kind of questions after we had stayed at the hotel over 5 times already and had never had any issues with our room after leaving. It was an all around bad experience. The owner or manager never tried to make it right with us in anyway at all. It was very disappointing
