Days Inn by Wyndham Alta Vista, Altavista

The hotel was very clean...

Liked: The breakfast was very good.
Disliked: The towel bowl would not stop running. One of the table lamps was missing a light blub. You could not crack open the windows for fresh air.

Do not stay at this...

Liked: It initially presented to be a clean hotel, price was was good
Disliked: Smelled overwhelmingly of weed when we walked in. Desk clerk was rude. All staff came out of no where and they all started staring at us and speaking Spanish. Was very uncomfortable. Got checked in and our room the door jam had been kicked in so we had concerns about even being able to lock the door safely. Our friends stayed across from us and their toilet wouldn’t flush. They were moved to an another room. Immediately they came banging in our door they had found bedbugs on their bed. So they went and told the front desk clerk wouldn’t come and help them for sometime. They checked out and asked their money refund. We left as well and once again met with rudeness. Said we want a refund kit friends had bedbugs and we’re it taking any chances. So we left.

Liked: This was a quiet little Days Inn in a little town. The staff was great and very accommodating. Very clean and comfortable and great value
Disliked: The eggs were dried out about a hour before breakfast was over but to the staffs defense I didn't ask for any fresh eggs either. So I don't hold it against them for wanting to keep waste down

Liked: Not a great breakfast selection!i
Disliked: Assistance to my room. I am disabled. TV didn’t work with one controller. I was directed to contact front desk on the screen but unable to reach an employee and needed to walk to the desk. Not a great breakfast for diabetics. Only eggs and sausage. Plenty of carb loaded foods not able to eat! Left the hotel had breakfast in a restaurant.
