Modern, sophisticated, and perfectly located in the heart of Glasgow, Dakota Glasgow is a boutique-style hotel that blends bold design with high-end amenities. Just a short drive from major music venues like the Hydro and SEC Centre, this chic retreat offers a serene escape after a high-energy night out. Think plush rooms, monsoon showers, and a stylish bar scene that makes winding down as fun as the show itself.

Why Concert-goers love it

With its central location, Dakota Glasgow is only a five-minute drive to major venues like the Hydro and Hampden Park, making it an ideal choice for catching a show without the stress. While it's close to the action, its tucked-away setting offers a peaceful night's sleep, so you can recharge in comfort. The 3:00 pm check-in gives you time to settle in before doors open, and the 11:00 am check-out lets you sleep in a little post-show. Plus, Glasgow’s late-night taxis and nearby public transport options mean you’re never stranded.

Exceptional hotel. 5 stars. Best...

Liked: Beautiful hotel, staff were all exceptional, from the front desk to the bar to the grill. Really felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble
Disliked: Can't really think of anything!

I would say my room...

Liked: Room was basic, which,as I was only staying one night I didn't mind
Disliked: There was no chair to put my clothes on.Instead there was a settee at the bottom of the bed in front of a large screen TV. The light systtem took some working out but got it sorted. The service for breakfast was very poor. Breakfast was from 6.30 AM. I arrived for breakfast at about 6.45. I was the only quest present and no staff were around. After a few minutes someone appeared. I was told I could sit anywhere. I was given the menu which had a reasonable selection.I chose the Scottish breakfast(being in Scotland). I helped myself to a bowl of cereal. The cutlery were was wrapped in a napkin.Upon unfolding the napkin there was no cereal spoon. On looking at other tables for a cereaL spoon there was none to be found. The staff member re-appeared again and I asked for a cereal spoon. My cooked breakfast arrived and it was reasonable rather than substantial. When I've stayed in previous hotels cooked breakfasts have always been self-service.I aslo had to ask for a pot of tea and some tomato ketchup. All this entailed a staff member going back to the kitchen to bring what I requested. Not very good!

Great experience!

Liked: I liked how friendly the staff were, any interactions that I had with them were always positive and pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable, loved the picture of the map of Scotland with all the old names for our towns and cities that was located in the hallway of our room, the rainfall shower was awesome and the bath was big enough to fit me! (I'm 6ft3), neither my fiance or me drink alcohol and we made staff aware before arriving and our mini bar was stocked with LOADS of water and soft drinks along with snacks, big shutout to Paul and Kseniia at the front of house and the housekeeping staff as well! 11/10 would stay again!
Disliked: I don't have much to say about what I didn't like to be honest! Everything was great!
