Beautiful room, only a couple...
Liked: Our room & balcony. Everything about the building we loved. Breakfast was the best ! Beautiful tasty food ! Thoroughly recommend!
Disliked: Our bed & pillows, bed too bouncy, disturbed partner each time one rolled over. Pillows were the worse we have ever experienced, they were flat with no support. Didn’t like having to pay for parking.

very much below exceptions and...
Liked: The staff were friendly and tried their best to be helpful.
Disliked: It seemed like the hotel was very poorly managed, despite the staff trying to be helpful. The food for the conference was below a reasonable standard, greasy cold and with out any imagination (eg. Moroccan bean salad was simply spinach leaves and tinned 4 bean mix and tinned lentils with some sliced onion - no flavour or thought had gone into the food, soggy corn, fatty chilli beef) the set up to feed the number of people on the conference meant it took a very long time to get lunch and sides ran out quickly. Our room wasn't cleaned on the second day, despite calling reception in the afternoon - it required another call after out after our conference to get the room cleaned. then it was a superficial clean. a cigarette bud was left on the balcony. There were no wine glasses in the room and no bathroom toiletries (no shower cap etc) the ironing board cover was falling off and didn't fit the ironing board. The bar staff didn't know what a Shiraz was, I had to point it out to him (ie. he was searching through the whiskeys and I had to direct him to where the red sines were and then point to the actual bottle)
