My main gripe wth the stay is that they had a fire alarm problem at 1:30 a.m.Saturday morning. My wife and I in our PJ's had to walk downstairs in the EXIT stairway to the lobby and outside the building while the Fire Department investigated. No compensation because I did not make the stay through them (it was with a third party).
Liked: Hotel people were great for answers.
Disliked: Fire wake up.

Nice place. Drink prices were high at the bar, but our concert was right across the street, so location was the best! Staff was very polite and helpful.
Liked: Reasonable price, free parking and close to our destination - the Akoo Theatre.
Disliked: Half & half for coffee in the room had become a solid.

The check in process introduced us to "Manuel". It was clear he would prefer no one to bother him at his front desk/helper/greeter/reservationist post. His answers were quick, staccato and he told us "don't even bother parking in the garage - we don't use it". We needed help with our luggage and his response was "over there" - he pointed towards a hall that held luggage gurneys. There were none available so I reiterated once again that we needed help with our luggage. He audibly sighed, rolled his eyes and looked away. We hauled our bags up by hand. My partner needs to eat gluten free and we asked the hostess at the restaurant if they could accommodate a gluten free person - she said "oh, yes, I believe we have a menu, let me look". The restaurant manager (second shift) stepped up, grabbed a menu from the stand, opened it and started pointing to the items - you just order what you want, like this fish you just get it without bread. I said that my partner was also vegetarian and could we please see the gluten free menu?. He continued - "you just get this steak salad; you get the steak, vegetables, salad and no bread". Our room was adequate; the 1 trash can in the room had garbage in it. The up side - it was directly across from the Akoo Theater and we were able to just cross the street and see the show. I will not stay there again - I will try different places near the theater and hope the staff is a bit more accommodating and friendly.
Liked: Few.
Disliked: Many.

We stayed for the weekend and had a decent time. It is a good hotel but not high class - the signs of aging around the wall bottoms etc. tell me at one time it was a higher rated facility and may be having less maintenace and will need remodeling in future. Room was good but bed was not suitable for those who have back pain as they are not high enough quality to help conform to your body to reduce pain. We gave it a 4 out of 5 - the pluses of closeness to the Akoo Theatre and ample parking made up for perceived shortcomings.
Liked: Decent rooms, close by to Akoo Theatre. No problems finding a place to park.
Disliked: Limited seating, especially in standard height chairs near the bar and around where coffee was sold in morning. Beverage prices high for the value received.
