Liked: Comfy mattresses...clean linen and beds made daily..everywhere spotlessly...centrally located for train station and walking to eating places pubs..private carpark a bonus as was lift in hotel...bins in room emptied daily and coffee/tea /milk replenished daily...and pool a nice addition to stay
Disliked: Room was dark and at back of hotel...however was okay for price.

Liked: It's a beautiful, grand, old hotel with loads of history. I hope it never changes.The rooms are dated, but for me, this just added to the charm.The hotel is right in the middle of the historic quarter beside the cathedral, great location to explore from. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
Disliked: Nothing not to like

Liked: Booked last minute and got a great price. Location was great, next door to cathedral. Didn't eat there but looked good so would have breakfast and dinner next time.
