Liked: N/A as breakfast time was 07:00-09:30. When on holiday you expect breakfast time to be upto 10:30 am
Disliked: Google directions brought us to Head Lane car park instead of the Hotel. That too when we arrived at midnight.Had to walk to Hotel and then get directions to Hotal car park.Hotel should resolve the Google Directions

Liked: Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, big smart TV, bath, blackout curtains, table and chairs in our room. The staff are so friendly and the location in the town center means less walking. Our 3rd time here and it's the best hotel.

Probably THE place to stay...

Liked: Great classic hotel in centre of Carlisle. Large, comfortable rooms and good facilities. Parking included (once you find their car park located at rear via a circuitous route!).
Disliked: The email they sent to us about their car park said "We have our own car park located at the rear of the Hotel. Please use the post code CA3 8HB to access this." The word "access" gives the impression that the post code is indeed to access the car park, maybe by typing the code into a panel at the entrance. In fact, what they should say is "Please use the post code CA3 8HB to find your way to the car park".(The car park has a different post code to the hotel as you have to get there from a completely different direction.)
