If they could attend to the little things this would be an above excellent hotel. Oh and more butter on tables please.

Liked: Lovely rooms; friendly staff.
Disliked: Poor service in dining room - it was the little things. Had to constantly ask for items missing from table. Ordered coffee for two - got a pot for one; no glasses for orange juice etc.; wrong meal served in the evening; booked a twin room, got a very large double bed.

Liked: It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Comfortable and every need catered for.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like, at all.

Liked: Very clean and recently decorated- very stylish Great room , great breakfast, great all round.
Disliked: Car park quite small - but a contractor did move his vehicle to give us a space

Liked: The room was good. The bathroom shower and towels were excellent.
Disliked: Didn’t like being overlooked by the very close building next door.

Perfect hotel to visit Stamford.

Liked: Lovely walk in shower cubicle, lovely well decorated room. Ground coffee bags were a plus. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Beautiful courtyard with lots of tables and chairs. The location of the hotel was just round the corner from the main shopping area. All in all an excellent stay.

Liked: Very friendly, helpful staff,and Michael the owner went out of his way to be interested in our conversation, hands on ,and the staff enjoy working for him
Disliked: The room (1),the window blind let's a lot of daylight in for me ,I sleep better with total darkness. Overall ,this place is fantastic, will definitely come again in the Autumn.

Superb

Liked: The room was really nice, very comfy and spacious, a quiet room was requested and could not fault that, although my husband banged his head several times on the door frame as it was very low and he isn't that tall, perhaps better signage to warn you would be good, the courtyard was especially nice full of flowers and plenty of places to sit, the breakfast was very nice and staff very pleasant, poached eggs were not runny but overall a good breakfast.
Disliked: The hotel was under some building work with scaffolding up at the front of the hotel, the car park was full of construction workers vehicles although we managed to park the car, it would have been good if this was communicated to us. I booked a superior room in the main hotel but we were put in a room in the cottage opposite, having said that the room was lovely and happy to stay.
