Crown Hotel

If they could attend to the little things this would be an above excellent hotel. Oh and more butter on tables please.

Liked: Lovely rooms; friendly staff.
Disliked: Poor service in dining room - it was the little things. Had to constantly ask for items missing from table. Ordered coffee for two - got a pot for one; no glasses for orange juice etc.; wrong meal served in the evening; booked a twin room, got a very large double bed.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helped us with a problem we had with the window blinds. The rooms were absolutely pristine.
Disliked: Nothing

Would repeat.

A convenient and comfortable hotel...

Liked: Excellent breakfast included in the price. Very convenient location in the centre of Stamford.
Disliked: Bit disappointed that the room and ensuite shower room were much smaller that on my last visit.

Liked: Lovely hotel in the heart of Stamford. The room was very well equipped, comfortable, clean and well decorated.The staff were very polite and helpful.
Disliked: More choices at breakfast ie. Museli, yogurt, fruit.

Liked: Beautiful outside seating area, quirky and comfy room, staff very helpful and friendly
Disliked: English breakfast just a little dry, and poached eggs rather well done (solid).
