Just 6 miles from the historic city of Carlisle The Crown Hotel is set in the picturesque village of Wetheral. Very good

Liked: Lovely peaceful room. Clean. Friendly welcome.
Disliked: Waited over 35 minutes for our cooked breakfast order. People arriving after us got hot food from the hot buffet which opened after our order was taken.

Great find

Liked: Room was great.
Disliked: The draught beer gave me a dose of the unwanted! Either that or the meal, but I'm pretty sure it was the first of my two beers. Dirty pipes? I can't say for sure but I wasn't well the following morning.

A lovely quiet hotel with...

Liked: Location was ideal. We enjoyed the spa and fitness facilités. Lovely bar and lounge areas. Nice and quiet. Near Carlisle for racing and golf.
Disliked: Car Park was s bit chaotic

Lovely stay and Wedding was...

Liked: We were attending a wedding at this venue, our only small issue was with the shower, pressure was very poor and the shower head wouldn’t stay in place, other than that very happy with the hotel, lovely breakfast and very helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing
