Liked: Didn't not eat at the place. Room ok, but to nosey from the main road. Would be a good idea to have air conditioning put in the rooms.

Liked: Nice, friendly & helpful staff.
Disliked: The room was very hot, no Aircon, no window, 2 skylights in the roof & an electric fan.

Liked: The rooms were clean and comfortable . Could do with an upgrade. Only seen two staff members . The female staff member who checked us in was lovely . The female staff member in the morning who was serving breakfasts was very miserable

CUSTOMER SERVICE was LACKING

Liked: The convenient location & distance from the Spa I'd travelled from
Disliked: The total lack of any type of greeting I received when I arrived there. I wasn't acknowledged at all, & 'not seen', as the person at the bar proceeded to chat to another patron. Her colleague, who was a few feet away, seemed to eventually become aware of my presence, & she came over to ask me if she could help me? I informed her that I had booked a room for the night, & I said my name. I also informed her that I was disappointed that no one had replied to my email from the previous day. She asked me what it was about, & I advised that it was requests for a room in a quiet area, a room with a bath, & a late check out. I stated that I wasn't now bothered about the late check out. She & her colleague (the one that hadn't acknowledged me) conversed between them about the room. It was then changed. She (the one who had acknowledged me)informed me about the times for food & the bar. I asked about room service, & she said I would need to come to the bar to order food, but that I could take it to my room. Suffice to say, I'd lost my appetite after having to wait to be acknowledged as I waited at the bar to check in. Upon entering the room, it was small, but it looked clean & tidy. However, it was actually very dusty, & the bedside table was dirty. I had to clean it with some toilet roll. The corners of the room had a significant accumulation of dust - as did all the visible skirting boards. The paintwork looked 'tired', with the numerous scuff marks on it. The right side bedroom light didn't work, nor did one of the sockets (left hand side under the window). That said, there were about 10 sockets in the room, which is probably the most I've ever seen in a hotel room of that size. The bathroom was clean, & the bath was deep, & it filled up quickly. The water was very hot, but the cold tap was also quite warm. This meant that I had to let out a lot of bath water, as it was far too...

Liked: I like the bar and restaurant area and the gardens you could sit in and have a drink and a meal We had a meal and I had the best chicken bacon salad. My husband had a very tasty steak pie . All staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Our room was a twin and two very comfortable beds . Bathroom was excellent good size bath with shower . Open front wardrobe to hang clothes. Nice size flat screen TV. Coffee and tea and a kettle .
Disliked: We had a room with no window only two high up skylights. hugh up .Our room got very hot but we did have a large fan which helped a modecome . If we return we will ask for a room with a window .

Liked: Convenient for the motorway. Food on site. Nice staff. Nice and quiet.
Disliked: Loo didn’t flush properly - always left some paper. Very hot. No windows, just skylights.
