Liked: Nice friendly welcome when we checked into hotel. The staff were brilliant they helped us with our luggage. The room was extremely clean and breakfast was superb

It felt like home but...

Liked: Lovely old coaching inn located to experience the Cotswolds at your own pace. Management and staff were wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable five days. The cozy bar was very relaxing.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like. Next time I’ll bypass London and go straight there

Disliked: The parking was not explained properly on booking.com or by the hotel. It should state that they have VERY limited parking and be prepared to move your car to suit local authority parking times, if you can’t park in the hotel carpark. Having been told by the manageress “Oh it’s ok they don’t check” is NOT a solution.The room was very dated, more than I thought it would be for an anniversary break. The amenities stated on booking.com where not present either. Had to go back down to reception for a hairdryer after already having issues with the TV (this was eventually sorted) no phone in room, no alarm clock, very worn old pillows in the wardrobe as extras.
