Really pleasant and welcoming stay

Liked: Dinner was lovely and Breakfast as well. EV charging a bonus and loads of parking etc.
Disliked: Nothing not to like

Disliked: Set up mainly as a business hotel. Would benefit from more staff at reception.

Disliked: A mix up with the restaurant and paying the bill wasn’t great. Very confusing.

Passable

Liked: The grounds and the hotel are beautiful and the rooms are spacious.
Disliked: our room in the new part was a bit dirty, there had been a coffee or something spilled all over the wall next to the bed and it hasn't been cleaned up from a previous guest and there was lots of hair in the bathroom . Although staff were pleasant they were not attentive. Check in took an age. At breakfast although a good selection was on offer, there were no baked beans or hash browns because they weren't prepared, they were the left on the counter rather than being put out for ten minutes. A member of staff also took a sausage from the offering and ate it whilst cleaning tables , we asked one member of staff for some more tea bags and were told he would if he had time .

Liked: Mostly all ok
Disliked: Breakfast was rather underwhelming, overall a very average experience which lets the rest of the accommodation down. Having stayed here twice, this comment applies on both occasions. It wouldn't stop me using this accommodation in the future, but some attention to the quality of ingredients and presentation would go a long way to improving the overall stay.
