Best Budget Hotel EVER!
Liked: Start with location; directly across from Kings Cross. Just cross the street, turn left, walk to McDonald?s, turn right, look left & you can see the sign. Next to Methodist Church. Friendly & VERY helpful staff. Yes...room is tiny but amazingly efficient. Bath has best shower; set temperature, turn shower head to wall & then just turn water on each time for use. Basic soap for hair & body....if you need special shampoo bring your own. And as with all budget hotels if you use a washcloth...again, bring your own. Heated towel bar...great for washing your undies & towel will be dry the next day. Hairdryer is above desk. Best feature is the lighted under-bed space. You can use your suitcase like a drawer & just pull out as needed. The same FOUR hangers you always get...do they think you will steal them....ridiculous! Best reading lamp I?ve ever seen in a hotel...of any price. Window opens...a necessity in these small rooms but room also has a fan. Bed was firm & nice linens. Dreadful pillows...but at least LOW dreadful pillows.....the one problem I?ve found in all economy hotels. BF is better than most...individual French Press or a large one. Large pot for tea drinkers. All spaces very clean. Tiny espresso/drinks bar. Also, really nice outdoor patio. Underground walkway to Kings Cross just after you pass McDonald?s. VERY SAFE....silly me, I didn?t realize I needed to lock the door behind me...so door was unlocked for 3 days!
Also, I asked for no room service as I can then just leave everything out. Somehow 3rd day it was cleaned...nothing disturbed or missing...just I was embarrassed! Also, they carried my suitcase up to room & brought down when I left...just ask! And I?m 78 yo & had no problem with stairs. You can get as much water as you want...you just trade your bottle for a new one....you can have 2 if you ask.

Liked: Excellent location, great restaurant up the road and 3minutes walk to Kings Cross station.Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: 70+ and struggling up to the third floor with all our luggage with stairs so narrow and steep!! No tea or coffee making facilities in room. No room for our suitcases only on floor .

Pleasant and comfortable!
Liked: The staff members who served us for breakfast were nice and professional! Especially the lady whose hair is green (or blue) because she quickly responds questions asked by the hotel guests! Thank you very much!

Liked: The hotel is located at the Kings Cross St. Pancras station. It´s a perfect place to reach everything in London. My room was very clean and comfortable! Next time in London, I will definitely book this hotel again.

Nice, value of money
Liked: Location is perfect, just 3 mins walk from King Cross Station;
Street is quiet at night even in a busy area;
room is small but conformtable (3 beds room we stayed located at the ground floor which helped a lot);
there are many places under the beds we can put our luggages in
the hotel provided biscuits and water ?both still and sparkling?every day;
Wifi not bad, breadfast not bad.
Disliked: the new cleaner of the hotel forgot cleaning the rabbish bin at our room twice, one of the days he/she even put the rabbish bag (full of rabbish) on the cover of the toilet when we back to the room after a whold day travel in London.....

I wont be back
Liked: Location for St Pancreas station.
Disliked: On opening the door to my room it smelt of drains and the windows were open. Once I opened the door to the ensuite the smell was worse and coming from the shower. I asked to be moved but as the hotel was full it was not possible. I was told they would put cleaning fluid down the drain and I should leave the windows open. Not satisfactory. There is a generator stored in a cupboard under the eaves on the return landing to the third floor. This runs all night and can be felt/heard when in bed. Again not pleasant. Breakfast was basic- a bowl tinned mixed fruit with a long black hair decorating the top of the fruit; no Danish pastries available only plain bread for toasting and heavy rolls. Very disappointing and the European hotel I subsequently went on to stay in put London to shame.
