Very good
Liked: Easy access to Metro, walking distance to many important sightseeing spots.
Disliked: Room was clean but general house keeping of the building and floors can be better.

Liked: I liked the location a lot. Very close to the trains and other restaurants and attractions if you’re a tourist.
Disliked: They could use some renovations but overall they are a great hotel.

Good location.
Liked: The location was good and the patio area on the 5th floor was nice. Rooms are so small so having that outside space was a life saver
Disliked: Rooms were not cleaned, it seemed they placed do not disturb on the door. We never used the the placard but it was apparently the reason they didn’t come in. Seemed it was moved from an adjacent room to our knob?

Liked: Only picked this location as it was close to the Vogue Summer School dorms that our daughter was staying in.
Disliked: Upon check-in, I entered a room that was clearly not cleaned to any acceptable standard. On the nightstand, I found a pair of someone else’s false eyelashes—an obvious and disturbing oversight by housekeeping. I immediately called the front desk to report the issue. Rather than receiving an apology or acknowledgment, the staff member who answered the phone sounded irritated that I had called at all. A cleaner was sent up to my room. Instead of treating the issue professionally, she simply pointed to the eyelashes, and when I confirmed that was the issue, she shoved them into her pocket without gloves or any sanitation process. She then wiped the surface once with a rag she had in her hand, not using any cleaner or disinfectant, and left while speaking in another language. There was no effort made to correct the issue beyond that, and no apology was ever offered. The nightstands and desk were never wiped, and the room was never vacuumed once. On top of this, the shower had visible patches of mold, clearly violating health and safety standards. This failure in basic hygiene and cleaning is not just a matter of discomfort—it is a violation of Marriott's own standards, and a public health concern. I informed a male front desk employee that my daughter had fallen ill and we would be checking out a day early; he confirmed the change and assured me it was properly documented. I followed checkout instructions by leaving the key cards in the drop box and was told a receipt would be emailed, but despite multiple follow-up calls, no receipt was ever provided. A female staff member—possibly a manager—later told me the checkout couldn’t be confirmed until IT completed a report, yet my card was charged without any notice or documentation. This directly contradicts what I was told and reflects deceptive and misleading practices, especially since another employee later sent the receipt instantly, proving it had always been accessible.

Liked: Typical NY hotel
Disliked: A/c was either blowing very cold or off. Was hard to find a neutral setting and off was too warm.
