Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station Guest Reviews
Write a review
Modern and convenient, Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station is perfectly placed for anyone catching a show in Boston. Just a 2-minute walk from TD Garden and North Station, this sleek hotel offers clean, contemporary rooms with streaming-enabled TVs, making it a great home base for music fans. With local landmarks like Quincy Market and Beacon Hill nearby, you’ll be close to both the culture and the concerts.
You can’t get much closer to the action—TD Garden is practically next door. That means no stressful transit or pricey rides after the show. Despite the location, guests say the hotel is surprisingly quiet once inside. With a late 12:00 PM check-out, you can recover at your own pace the next day. Plus, North Station’s transit hub is steps away, making late-night rides back easy if you’re not walking. Staff are helpful when it comes to finding late-night eats or navigating the city.
The on-site bistro serves up American breakfast daily—perfect for those late mornings after a night out. Dinner and a full bar are also available in the evening. While room service isn’t 24/7, the staff can guide you to nearby walkable eateries that stay open late. With Quincy Market and other local hotspots within walking distance, you won’t go hungry.
While the hotel itself is more chill than party, you’re in a prime location to explore Boston nightlife. From TD Garden’s big shows to buzzing bars and lounges around the North End and Faneuil Hall, there’s no shortage of options. Prefer to wind down? The hotel bar offers a relaxing atmosphere with cocktails and craft beers.
The hotel doesn’t offer 24/7 dining, so if you’re coming in very late, plan ahead or ask the front desk for suggestions. Some guests noted that the lobby can get a bit busy during event nights, but that’s a small trade-off for the location.
Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown/North Station is a top pick for concert-goers who want unbeatable location, modern comforts, and an easy wind-down after the show.

It was a wonderful stay...
Liked: There was a gentleman at the desk who was very nice and caring. I am disabled and he always ran out to see if I need the handicap scooter I bad rented and made sure we were okay.
Disliked: Price of drinks from cart. $5 is a little much when you can right across the street and a block down at cvs 2 for 5.

Perfect stay for the city!
Liked: We stayed in a king and sofa bed and it was just right for 2 adults and 2 children. It was by far one of the cheapest I found for what we needed. We had a room that over looked the freeway and bridge which was spectacular and not noisy at all! The T is a 1 min walk which will get you to all the places you need for a visit in Boston. T garden stadium over the road with a supermarket attached, perfect for supplies.
Disliked: Breakfast is a little pricey, but there is a lovely cafe right behind, which is very good ;)

I’m planning to return!
Liked: I loved the proximity to TD Garden, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was lucky and able to check in quite early too! The one complaint was the $70 charge for valet parking for just 24 hours. But it kept my car off the street too.

Always a wonderful stay
Liked: We love staying at the Courtyard Boston hotel every time we go to a Bruins game. The only choice for us and we have tried other local hotels to compare. There is no comparison.
