A good place to stay...
Liked: One of the two rooms had a very bad odor in it, and the lovely lady at the desk immediately changed that room to another that was just fine. We really appreciated it.
Breakfast was very nice, and the atmosphere was charming.
Disliked: When I made the reservations in September 2019, I specifically chose your facility because I could get transfers from the airport. This changed, and I didn't find out until the day before ? not even 24-hours before our departure from home, so that was an added and very unwelcome burden. Finding transportation to somewhere with which I'm unfamiliar ? and in a hurry ? really threw a monkey wrench into my vacation plans.

Great Location and service-oriented staff.
Liked: We travel to this area for Mardi Gras nearly every year. This was our hotel of choice, primarily due to the convenient location and above-average breakfast that is included in the stay. Although the hotel is showing its age, the staff does what they can to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. On our most recent visit, our traveling guests had a number of issues arise, and although they were mostly due to uncontrollable circumstances... the hotel did make an effort to help and "make things right" as much as possible. Inconsiderate guest noise at all hours is a byproduct of the Mardi Gras season - and although I may think twice before recommending this hotel to friends during this time, I do commend their efforts and customer service.
Disliked: The open courtyard setup does not support a "quiet" atmosphere when guests are being rowdy at all hours. During Mardi Gras week, we had to ask the front desk to control the noise level after midnight on several nights.
