Pool closed

Liked: Comfortable bed and breakfast was really good.
Disliked: When I arrived the AC was off so the room was hot and the refrigerator wasn’t cold.The pool was green and gross so they ended up closing it. They never told us that we could use the pool next room until I was checking out. When you pay extra for a pool and can’t use it because it’s not been maintained properly then to find out that I could have enjoyed a pool if the staff would have told us. The only reason I got the hotel was to enjoy the pool.

Disliked: The room was NOT Handicapped accessible. The toilet was standard height NOT tall as ADA requirements. My friend could NOT get into the bed. She had to step on our cooler then use the chair as a support. ADA specifies that the bed should be 20"- 23" from the floor to the top of the mattress. The bed was 30" from the floor to the top of the mattress. I called the front desk and asked for a small step stool. He replied that they did not have any footstools!! The tub was too tall for her to step into. When a traveler requests a handicapped accessible room, these problems are what we are hoping to avoid. It was very disappointing. When checking out I voiced our concerns and she hostess said they have had numerous complaints before.

Liked: Decent basic lodging, not spectacular.
Disliked: Breakfast-half the things were empty, even a waffle maker was broken. Not expecting a gourmet meal but the basics were shortchanged. Frustrating.
