I booked a prepaid suite with a king bed 2 months prior to traveling. When we got there they tried to give us a non-suite with two double beds. The front desk didn't even tell us they were downgrading our room when we checked in. Went back to the front desk and was told they overbooked and gave our room away. Keep in mind check in time is 3pm and we were there at 3pm. She told us it wasn't her problem. If we didn't like it we could go elsewhere. There were 3-4 other couples there with the same issue. Being law enforcement I had higher hopes when staying at a Country Inn.

Liked: They are issuing a refund.
Disliked: Overbooked and didn't care.

Disappointing

Disliked: It had a terrible smell like rotting wood! Our floor on the room was really bad ! Coming apart at the seams ! Room was right by the steps an you could hear lots of foot traffic coming up an down the steps!

This hotel did not meet...

Liked: It was a place to stay.
Disliked: The floor boards in the room were warped and had jagged edges. When we told the desk clerk she said don't worry you won't be charged for them. The hotel was really showing its age and not in a good way.

Liked: Clean and updated. Right next to a restaurant so didn’t have to drive anywhere. Had questions about the bed and they were very accommodating.
