A fun place to stay...

Liked: The historic part is very fun. We stayed in one of the original rooms. It was very spacious, historic, functional and well maintained/restored.
Disliked: We missed the old breakfast they used to offer but the price reflected it so it’s fair

Horrible loud night with no...

Disliked: First they do not found my reservation, even the full money was already paid. Then the room was smelling severe to anti-insect treatment, the matress was too soft and old. The whole night prople drinking and shouting right next to our door and don‘t stop after i ask for. The promised refund of 50USD never arrive as well as the deposit is not paid back! They never ansered direct on my mails, they just threaten me by new invoiceds-so they think i even pay double. This whole place is a catastrophie!! I never experienced this before on a motel.

Liked: On checkin found the hotel is no longer part of the Travelogue group and would not honour our reservation. We had to pay for a new reservation. Hopefully the matter has been resolved by Booking! The hotel from the outside does look like its very run down. However inside the rooms (albeit in dire need of an upgrade) are clean and comfortable. We were given a suite for our troubles.
Disliked: The room was oldfashioned needs updating.

Overall it was adequate for...

Liked: The motel has had some remodeling done which was great but it needed to be completed. Our check in agent upgraded us to a suite which worked out wonderful for us. The continental breakfast was adequate.
Disliked: There were a few items like an old hair band and hair extension in our room that didn't belong to us so cleaning could have been better. The ice machine wasn't working and it was hot out.

Great place and comfortable stay....

Liked: Old style motor hotel with modern rooms and character. I had spacious room with seperate kitchen. More than I needed for solo traveller. Very comfortable. Very close to historical attractions. Continental breakfast available in Lobby.
Disliked: Not much within walking distance but that is not unusual in usa.

Dont be fooled. This place...

Disliked: We were told by staff that the hotel was recently purchased (3 weeks before we arrived) and the hotel is not recognized as a Wyndham Hotel any longer. The bathroom had mold in the tub, tub didn't drain properly, there was not 2 pools are stated. Have pictures to prove pool had green algae and Out of Order sign, other pool was afraid to use. Ice machine was very dirty so we had to purchase ice. We were there for two weeks and had to go somewhere to wash our clothes. Washing machines were very dirty and area was extremely dirty. Carpet was never vacuumed. Free breakfast of eggs, oatmeal, or pancakes etc was not honored. Only had muffins, coffee, yogurt where you check in. They even had an empty and dirty vending machine in the lobby. This place was not worth the $1,350 I paid.
