Continental Inn

Pretty average hotel. The weekend rates are a little brutal, but I think that the whole city is just the way it is I guess.

Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: Pool wasn’t heated and it said there was a spa and never saw one.

It was only OK. We tried to not have to drive home at night, but ended up driving home before light anyway to avoid the commute traffic.

Liked: Convenience, staff was helpful.
Disliked: The heater in our room had a fan that was really loud. We barely slept less than 3 hours each. We turned the heat way down so it wouldn't come on so often. We took a blanket out of our car to keep warm enough. We were both awake at 4:30 so we just got up and went home to nap.

Liked: It’s good for what it is — a basic, refurbished old motel.
Disliked: You can hear peopleabove and next door.

Liked: The room was functional. It was clean and the cleaning staff was excellent.
Disliked: Tiny room for the money but I guess that's Santa Cruz. Walls were pretty thin and could hear my neighbors pretty loudly.
