We felt very welcome and safe. It was very convenient being close to the city and being able to park and ride inexpensively by cab !!! Parking in Newark is nuts !

Liked: Awesome clientele. They were very helpful. Allowed us to check in early and leave car parked (for free) while we attended the XFACTOR auditions !!!
Disliked: The only downside would be surrounding area but, hey it's the city !!!

Was an okay stay

Liked: The beds were comfortable, the facilities were clean and nice
Disliked: You weren’t allowed to sit in the breakfast area to chat with your large party in the off hours, so you have no place to hang out, and you have to pay to park in there own parking lot after paying a fortune to stay there

Disappointing

Disliked: Neighborhood is a little sketchy. Most uncomfortable bed I ever slept in. It was like a lumpy pile of laundry. Pillows were flat and floppy and old. It was decently clean for what it was but definitely in need of some updates. I’d stay somewhere else the next time I’m in the area.

Beware of charges plus a...

Liked: Close to train stations and Prudential events .
Disliked: Paying a deposit of $100 on top of the room plus another 4 day hold on your card the day of reservation for $200.The charges for parking. Paying enough for the room per night plus being charged to use their parking lot was extrem. If you don't put your tag in an open view while it's parked. It will be towed and it's outrageous if it's towed!. Parked literally 5 min6rsn back to room to grab permit to park and the tow company had it picked up. Held for 45 minutes.. Charged $750 cash! No other payment!

Not impressed with the hotel...

Disliked: The left bedside light fixture was not working. Breakfast was missing some items, such as bananas, 8 oz milk carton cranberry juice danish, just to name a few things.

Do not stay here!!! For...

Liked: Honestly, some of the staff was ok.
Disliked: Mostly everything! From checking in, the receptionist was very unwelcoming. Her misdemeanor felt uninvited. The room was located where the view was towards the street and all you could see and hear throughout the day and night were cars in and out. The AC OMG, horrible. The shower, again HORRIBLE. The location
