Liked: Our sleep was distrupted three rows in a night due to a fire drill. Not ideal if you have had a long day and all you want is to get some rest

Liked: Love everything RM and breakfast restaurant on rooftop foods especially hamburgers and fries the mgr their has love hospitality great server as well will be back again dislike no inside pool it was worth staying this location close to airport free shuttle bus pickup was great hotel server Ms Paris was the best communication good understanding answer ours questions great help to US first time in Newark New Jersey in Hudson River Pier and New York Brooklyn was great vacation and Honeymoon trip for Me my husband Celebrated 39 th Wedding Anniversary there. Horrendous stay

Liked: Terrible stay. They put us on the same floor as a school with unhinged teenagers with 0 oversight. From 98pm to about 11pm they were slamming doors and blasting music. Screaming at each other in the hallway. Despite us asking for some consideration we had no luck. So we tried reaching hotel staff. They weren’t at the desk and the phones rang and rang. We called corporate and they kept us on the phone and never actually reached anyone themselves. It was absolutely terrible. Finally was able to find the attendant. They didn’t offer any help. Said they can go see but “it’s kids”. I asked to be relocated to another floor. They agreed but no help was offered to do so. The new room wasn’t cleaned it seemed. TV was still on and it was in a bit of disarray. At that point didn’t care anymore as I took silence and sleep over dirt. Breakfast area was dirty and tables left with garbage and food. We had to clean other peoples leftovers and spilled syrup to be able to sit down. They ran out of food fast and we gave up waiting for refill of eggs. The neighborhood is not really walkable. It’s pretty shady. This place is ONLY a place I’d go to ever again if stuck at Newark due to flight cancellation. It wasn’t so cheap that I could have expected it to be this bad. Wait for the reply on here from the Hotel Management stating “they care and are sad the stay wasn’t to our liking and to give them a chance again”. It’s terribly mismanaged and what we witnessed was just complete and utter lack of understanding how to run a hotel and service guests. Bad.

Hidden gem

Liked: Very clean and nice-smelling (no toxic dryer sheet smell or sanitizer) Fantastic staff, eager to serve. Upbeat. Comfortable rooms, beds, good showers and easily accessible airport shuttle. Location pretty close to Museum of Art and Rutgers university. We enjoyed the 9th floor views of NYC and city lights at night. We had the well-equipped fitness room all to ourselves! For airport travel, this place works well!!
