This hotel was close to the venue that we visited, and that is the reason why I booked here. The hotel itself is adequate for an overnight stay. I felt that the front desk staff were not as friendly, or as helpful, as they could have been. No mention was made about the parking situation at time of check-in. I paid $5 for parking, and wasn't even parked on the actual hotel lot. Doubtful I would stay here again.
Liked: The beds were awesome and very comfortable!
Disliked: Not advised about the overflow parking off of the lot. Arrived after 10:30pm after the concert - there was no parking available in the lot.

Liked: Bathroom clean; beds soft.
Disliked: Could NOT access HBO channels (one was out while other seemed to be public access); children ran through the halls until 1 AM; walls so thin could hear conversations in ANY room; room not refreshed while out, despite being asked; asked for towels three times (had to find them myself).

Advertising as a newly remodeled facility our room did not seen newly remodeled, with the water stains in the bathroom. The door did not have a latch to go across so that let the maid in without anything stopping them and we were not checked out yet. Not sure if I would go back to this location. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful.
Liked: Friendly service at the check in desk; decent breakfast.
Disliked: Water stained bathroom; cleaner came in to clean, only knocking once, and before we could answer used the key to get into the room - we were not even checked out yet. There was no top latch on the door so it could not be opened.

Staff friendly and great location.
Liked: Access to the attractions around the area is great; you are able to walk most of the time depending on where you are going. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. When we checked out, they asked how to accommodate us when we informed them of the intrusion we experienced Saturday evening. We told them to be more aware of who is coming into the hotel alone during very late hours of the evening/morning.
Disliked: Not pleased with uninvited knocks on our hotel room door on six different occasions throughout Saturday night. It was 1:30 in the morning when I informed the hotel lobby desk of the intrusion. The situation was very frustrating and unpleasant.

Probably won't book here in...
Liked: I booked this room for it's proximity to the Convention Center and thinking that parking was free, as advertised on Booking.com. The hotel charged to park as I was checking out, the eggs in the morning were disgusting, the bed was too soft, and the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything in the hall to one side of you, and all passing traffic outside.
Disliked: Don't advertise "free parking" on Booking.com and then charge for it anyway. I still think I ought to have a $15 credit. The breakfast is nothing special and it was very tough to sleep between a soft mattress and paper-thin walls.

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Tons of choices. Facility is newly remodeled so very updated and modern looking. Super nice.
Disliked: Parking. There is not a lot of parking at the building. They do have an overflow lot next door but if you don?t know that going in. Also when I stayed they were changing over, it was night and no sign.

Great value for my stay...
Liked: Based off of other reviews and the high prices and sold out units at all the local hotels due to the Arnold Classic. The Holiday Inn was my second choice, other then than the Westin which was double the price of my stay here. Despite a small parking lot, the Holiday Inn was right next door to a Panera Bread and a 10 minute drive from the convention center. The room itself was good, the walls seemed pretty thin from a hallway. However, the upgraded rooms featured a modern bathroom, huge bed, nice TV and dresser unit with a comfy pull out couch as well. The space, refrigerator, and microwave were added bonuses to the unit. I would definitely not hesitate staying here again.
Disliked: The elevator was on the slow side. The parking on the hotel premises was lacking.
