Liked: This is no longer a Comfort Inn. We drove around for a few minutes after booking about a week ago. Close to zero lobby, with a less than helpful front staff. No breakfast as offered. Clean, decent room
Disliked: No breakfast. Total remodel happening.We were in room 224….constant slamming of door & loud steps up the stairs Apparently the elevator isn’t working during construction. Major safety concerns since the door was unlocked I checked many times

Liked: There was no breakfast area. They were doing construction off the lobby and no one mentioned breakfast even though it was stated in the reservation.it would have been nice if we knew ahead of time

It was a very pleasant...

Liked: There was not a breakfast option as remodeling was in full force. But my room was wonderful and clean and very quiet. Perfect for visiting my family in Guilford. I will return for certain!
Disliked: A coffee maker in the room would have been welcome since breakfast was not offered.

Liked: The room was very clean. Location was convenient for me.
Disliked: There was massive construction in the reception area. The free breakfast did not exist, even coffee. There was a really strong smell in the corridors . Not much customer service going on.

very disappointing...felt disrespected

Liked: did not eat it. Check out was 10 am....I like to sleep in a little later on Sundays. It was over.
Disliked: The first floor was being renovated. There were brown cardboard boxes stacked on either side of the front entrance, as well as in the lobby. When I went to check in, the girl at the counter took my ID and started counting out the drawer. (I had already given my credit card info). I asked her what she was doing, she said she couldn't run my card because she "just came on". She needed to prove out the drawer at the beginning of her shift but when I came in, she was playing on her phone. There were asbestos abatement plastic sheets hanging down in the lobby hallway. The lobby furniture is plain wood, like outdoor furniture, and was worn out, cushions were all floppy and I would never sit on them. No plants, lobby lights were off in the afternoon, looked like a deserted workzone. I did not get a discounted price for this environment. My bed was comfy but there was no decor, no USB ports...old lamps, no hairdryer. When I put TV on there was Indian music blasting. I have traveled quite a bit and have only stayed in one other place that was this bad. Not a good representation of Comfort Inn.
