Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Scott, Surgoinsville, visiting Bridgestone Arena Fri, 4 August 2017

Location is probably the only reason for the cost of 1 room being so high, but the condition was certainly not worth it. The hotel needs to upgrade it's facilities - it would appear nothing has been done since the 80's.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Old hotel in need of updating.

I was visiting Nashville to see a musical performance that ended up being cancelled the day of the show due to severe weather preventing the performers from flying to Nashville. I called the website immediately only to be told that the hotel ultimately decides if I get charged full price for the room or not. After having to call website three different days so they could track down the general manager of the Comfort Inn location I had a reservation at, only to be told they were still going to charge me full price for the room. I understand paying a cancellation fee but I am very disappointed by the Comfort Inn's decision to charge me full price for a room I never used at no fault of my own. I have been using Comfort Inns for years, and was very content, until now. As a result of this poor experience and lack of empathy from the General Manager when I spoke with him, I have decided to never again use Comfort Inns and I will encourage friends, family, and our logistic department at my company and our travel coordinators to do the same. There are plenty of other chains that would love to have mine and my company's business and thank me for it.

Liked: None at this time.
Disliked: No empathy whatsoever from staff or GM.

Would go there again - the Irish pub had a great food variety and the music was great. We loved the fact that it was only a 15 minute walk to downtown.

Liked: Everything was super; the room was good; the breakfast was great; it was a 15 minute walk to downtown.

Chose this motel because it was pet friendly. Enjoyed my stay - generous check-out times.

Liked: Bed was comfortable. Food was good. Desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Photo on internet / driving instructions - out of date.

Disliked: No wi-fi connectivity available due to "over-booking" and no cell phone signal.

The room was clean and comfortable and the most reasonably priced hotel within a one mile distance of downtown.

Sandy Thu, 12 April 2012

If I hadn't paid for the entire stay in advance we wouldn't have stayed.

Liked: Close to downtown attractions.
Disliked: No shuttles to anything; bathroom needed major TLC; seemed like homeless people were always lurking around.

Stacey Fri, 11 March 2011

Disliked: Had child with me and did not feel safe. People hanging over the rails outside our room. Guys on lower level watching my 12 yr. daughter everytime we walked out the door. Would never recommend this to anyone I know. We were there less than an hour and checked out. Lost my money, but safety for my child came first. Later on, found out from Nashville residents that motel was where musicians crashed and workers who stayed and partied after work stayed there because of cheap rates. Sorry but even the lady behind us when we were checking out said she didn't blame me.
