Santa Cruz is a fuuuuuun place. The Comfort Inn, where I stayed, is close to the boardwalk so you can easily walk there. I had a great time: The weather was great, the room was nice and the Catalyst, where I saw three really great bands, was a good venue. I had a blast.

Liked: Friendly people; clean rooms; perfect for the night!
Disliked: Hmmm...nothing was bad. The room seemed a little cramped, but I was the only one there, so it was cozy.

Overall, the location was great and the room was decent for the price.

Liked: The pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly. The grounds were well kept. I would definitely stay there again.

Disliked: I found several roaches and wasn’t able to sleep very well because of it. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, it made my back hurt.

Liked: The shower was nice & hot with good water pressure. The breakfast was good with a waffle maker for fresh waffles.
Disliked: The parking is limited so if you leave int eh afternoon on a weekend you may likely not have a parking spot when you return. The breakfast options could use some fruit options other than a banana.
