Liked: This is a beautiful outdoor glamping retreat overlooking NY Harbor, The Statue of Liberty and The NYC skyline. We went in late October and it was so cozy, comfy and relaxing. You can relax at the retreat or walk around Governors Island, take in the sights and engage in the various activities. The bar is open all day but the restaurant is only open for breakfast, lunch and dinner . There are coolers or refrigerators in your lodgings...so pack your own snacks and beverages. Sit on your deck, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the harbor...unforgettable!
Disliked: I would have appreciated if the kitchen was open extended hours for snacks. It's a car free Island so there are no stores and only one other restaurant. Everything has to be brought over on the ferry so pack carefully. They do pick up you up on a golf cart so don't worry about the walk.

Disliked: No hot water at all. Nobody acknowledged this complaint. It was cold day we couldn’t wash properly and definitely couldn’t shower
