Liked: The location is not bad. 5 minute walk to closest Subway station, walking distance to 9/11 memorial and Oculus.
Disliked: It is SUPER basic and budget. Even though it isn’t very cheap. I’ve stayed in a lot nicer affordable hotels in NYC before. Skip this one. Here’s some things that stood out to me:You have to check yourself in and even when you arrive well past check-in time, they ask you to wait 15 minutes, so someone could go and check if the room is clean. Why isn’t the room already clean if we arrive an hour after check in time? The elevators are slow and always in use, the lobby and facilities are dated and basic.The room has paper thin walls. One morning I woke up at 5am because neighbors were talking. Not even loudly but because the walls are so thin, it felt like they were talking in our room. The room also looks dated and there aren’t any easily accessible outlets near the bed to charge your phone. I had to move the bed to find one BEHIND the bed, which was very inconvenient. Felt like the room was designed in the 90s.The AC monitor is either broken or there’s something wrong with the permissions because we weren’t able to successfully turn the AC off. I got sick because the cold air was blowing heavily on us at night.

Liked: Location is superb. Just opposite the wtc.
Disliked: Small room but according to location it's ok.

A nice place to stay...

Liked: Comfy beds, close to memorial
Disliked: Thin walls, we booked for 4 people and only got 3 towels each day.
