Liked: Very good location for downtown and close to the subway to get to all uptown locations. Quiet and safe area. Rooftop bar is nice and has a small balcony to take your pictures from. Extremely comfortable beds. Chilled water in the hallways to bring back to the room. Free coffee in the room and in the lobby. Our twin room had a fridge and microwave which was unexpected.Our room was a superior twin with a window looking out the back of the building at the building next door. You need to specifically book a room with a view if that's what you want, and that will cost you. Lots of closet space. Clean bathroom. Plenty of towels in the room and they were replaced along with the bedding on the third day without us asking, which was nice. Check in is by kiosk/tablet and there is even a card writer to create your room keys for you. All automatic. Very friendly staff stored our luggage after checkout so we could explore some more on the last day before heading for our flight.
Disliked: 24/7 banging noise from the HVAC system, even when switched off. We were using earplugs so didn't affect us but could be a major problem for others. You definitely won't sleep with this noise if you don't have earplugs. Even in normal operation the system is too loud to sleep without something in your ears.No safe in the room. Would have preferred to have this rather than a microwave.Overall level of cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep is not great. There was wallpaper peeling away in the room and areas where large amounts of dust and debris had been allowed to build up. Weird nasty smell in the hallway on our floor.Room is not 33 square metres as advertised. Closer to 20.

Liked: Good-sized room, excellent shower pressure, short waiting times for lifts; good location downtown, very nice rooftop terrace.
Disliked: Terrible WiFi, hotel clean but a bit scruffy, could use some refreshing

Very good

Liked: Very quiet and great location next to the Wall Street with a breathtaking view at the WTC and 9/11 memorial. 24h access to both cofee/tea as well as bottled water on each floor. There are many restaurants around where you can have a good breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly recommend this place!
Disliked: Really minor things like despite being at the hotel on time we had to wait a while for our room to be ready or a little fuss with an extra pillow or blanket.
