Liked: Great location, easy check in / out. Good shower and room size.

Nice stay in excellent location...

Liked: Good stay overall. Amazing location. Nice building. Friendly reception staff. Clean, comfortable room with good bathroom facilities and great TV. Wonderful little tea/coffee unit.
Disliked: £50 additional deposit held from check-in until 2 days after check-out. Not sure why this is necessary. Don't see the point of automated check-in if reception staff need to be there to guide you through it anyway. Never received room number text. Another guest knocked on our door looking for someone else. Staff must have knocked on someone else's door with our requested tea supplies because they definitely didn't knock on ours. Need a small window that opens to allow fresh air in. Room quite small for cost - paying for the location.

Liked: Location & friendly staff
Disliked: Can be a bit noisy if you’re a light sleeper. St Paul’s chimes every 15mins through out the night. Don’t be put off as location great. Just be prepared & if necessary take ear plugs.

Bad

Disliked: I booked through booking.com and mistakenly booked a "same day" date booking instead of the following month. I call this hotel immediately to make them aware of my mistake and to book the correct dates and was told I had to fix it on "booking. Com" I tried to no avail. I'm very unhappy that the hotel staff couldn't be more helpful. Now I'm waiting to see if I will be charged in spite of my calling, long distance, to correct the error. If I hear back with good results, I will change my attitude on this matter.
