More expensive, more charges but...

Liked: Pod gives privacy, comfortable enough.
Disliked: Wifi is quite bad, they don't improve it, used to be good long time ago.They ask for £4 to leave luggage at checkout, new rule, whoever came up with this idea should be fired and this alone is enough for me to review lower as it will hopefully send a clear message about the rip off charges, seems like most things are now paid.Considering what you pay for the pod it could at least include a towel.

Noisy temp controls and uncomfortable...

Liked: Good location and helpful desk staff
Disliked: The themostat in the room that runs is so noisy that it's hard to sleep. Altho I get that hostel pod matresses are basic, this one was particularly bad, and you could feel the beams underneath in the middle.

Superb

Liked: the elevator was relatively responsive, plenty of bathrooms and showers (though the showers did not have any ventilation) and the kitchen was lovely and clean. Plenty of oil/spices for free use and good fridge space available. Staff were very helpful with questions about public transport. Very reasonable kitchen hours, midnight closed for cleaning but can’t cook your own breakfast until midday
Disliked: bedrooms were too warm at night, i woke up sweating most nights. some bathrooms were closed at intervals so you had to see on which floors were they available.
