Liked: Hospitality excellent however there was a vast amount of dust behind TV. The room that we had was in the loft which was difficult for me to get to as stairs were narrow and steep. The room did smell of damp from the bathroom. The host however was otherwise obliging to my needs. We departed a day early due to the difficulty with the stairs.

Perfectly positioned and exceptionally clean...

Liked: We stayed in two small double rooms for two nights over the Grand National meeting. The owner/manager was extremely welcoming and helpful, the rooms were compact but perfectly clean and well fitted out, the shower was small but very efficient. The tea/coffee tray was a welcome addition. The hotel is perfectly positioned for the station and Lord Street, and very good value for money.
