Classic Hyde Park Hotel

Very good

Liked: The location is very close to the Paddington Station, allowing easy transport. The room itself was tidy and offered a harirdryer (one less thing to pack) and coffee/tea. There is 24 hour security with a buzz in system at the main door. The check in and check out length of time was very quick.
Disliked: I wish the door to the room had a better lock than just a "bedroom door knob lock." If there was a chain, I would have felt more secure. Additionally, please put more than a sheer curtain on the window because I felt awkward that others could look into the room.

Good place for a good...

Liked: Good location! Nice quiet street! 5min walk to transport, restaurant, park etc!!30min walk or 15min drive to epicenter, shops etc!!Good place for a good price!
Disliked: Room, Toilet bathroom - very small - can barely turn around!(if a person is not too big - it will be ok! but not enough space for a hippo like me - 190cm, 130kg)No desk!

Great base for exploring London.

Liked: Great location.Easy to get to and from Paddington. Very reasonable price. Staff were friendly. Room was small, but well equipped and clean and tidy. Everything you need for a base for exploring London for a short break.
Disliked: Some things may need updating, like reception and carpet... for first impressions, however, it didn't affect our stay and the price is so reasonable it can be easily overlooked.

Exactly as pictured

Liked: The location was amazing. The staff were also fantastic and were always helpful. The room was exactly as advertised in the pictures.
Disliked: The room can get quite stuffy as it only has a fan.

A perfect spot for a...

Liked: Everything.This is a small and beautiful hotel. The staff is very kind and willing to help at any time. It is ideally located within a 5-minute walk from Paddington Station and Hyde Park - making it easy to get around the city. And the place is quiet at night and the area is beautiful.Some might say the room is small. I would go for cozy and convenient, without any fancy extras that drive up the price but you do not really use when spending all day out and about.The room is perfectly clean, the shower had hot water with good pressure and the bed is very comfortable. There are lots of power sockets in the room (remember that the UK uses a specific plug type). We also had a fridge in the room to keep some fresh water and stuff for breakfast. Some rooms have microwaves, so ask if you might need one. There is also a fan in the room but we didn't have to use it because, even in early July, it was not hot at all for us.If you do not have any mobility problems and you will be in the hotel mainly to rest, this is the place to go. It is excellent value for money.
Disliked: Nothing!!! We loved the place.(Anyway, if you have any mobility issues, keep in mind there’s no lift and the room is quite compact).

Liked: Nice clean compact room. With a fan which was needed in this heat ! Beds were comfy too.
