Clarion Inn Silicon Valley

The room was not ready or clean by 3pm check in. They supposedly had a "guaranteed" 3pm check in. We went back to the front desk, and instead of asking us or offering another room,they told us to wait a few minutes. We traveled to get to the area, and I had an event to attend that night and wanted to relax. It took half an hour for the maid to get the room ready, and we literally had to shlep our stuff into the hallway and wait outside. Other than that, this room was a good value for the price.

Liked: Free breakfast; fridge; microwave; vanity area outside the bathroom; comfortable bed.
Disliked: Room was not ready by 3pm check in.

Disliked: I didn’t like that when I arrived at check in after 4:00 pm I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. The cleaning person stopped me from coming into my room and told me it would be another 20 minutes. I was frustrated that they didn’t have a clean room ready. They did switch me rooms though, which I appreciated.

Liked: First the eggs were runny and salty. Second day was much better. Coffee was excellent
Disliked: Runny eggs. More selection for breakfast. Croissants, danishes would be an added plus

Liked: The staff members were approachable and understanding. We loved the beds, they were firm and comfortable. The stay came with a complimentary breakfast which was a pleasant surprise to us.
Disliked: Nothing.
