Clarion Inn Silicon Valley

The room was not ready or clean by 3pm check in. They supposedly had a "guaranteed" 3pm check in. We went back to the front desk, and instead of asking us or offering another room,they told us to wait a few minutes. We traveled to get to the area, and I had an event to attend that night and wanted to relax. It took half an hour for the maid to get the room ready, and we literally had to shlep our stuff into the hallway and wait outside. Other than that, this room was a good value for the price.

Liked: Free breakfast; fridge; microwave; vanity area outside the bathroom; comfortable bed.
Disliked: Room was not ready by 3pm check in.

great place to check in...

Liked: The room are very clean and well appointed! The bath room was well provided with necessary supplies.Slept well as the area is very quiet in spite of being along a main street. Parking is great!
Disliked: Was told it will take 7 days for my deposit to be refunded. We will see!

Adequate if charmless lodging that...

Liked: Good security and quiet room. AC was very effective. Shower not bad. In-room fridge capacious and kept a good chill on my morning yogurt, my protein shake and my evening can of beer. TV outdated but easy to navigate with plenty of DISH channels on offer.
Disliked: Breakfast met bare minimum of definition. Pre-made “scrambled eggs?” Yuck. (There are at least three rather great diners less than five minutes by car nearby.) Same with in-room coffee: only just reaches threshold of what might be considered coffee. Overall, amenities are mediocre.

Liked: Clean and bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Road noise in room. A little worn out. Street scene was a little sketchy.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the room was clean
Disliked: There was noise from the highway inside the room so I bought earplugs. The breakfast did not look too appetizing so I just made the instant oatmeal packet. The neighborhood looked a bit unsafe so we moved all our belongings into our room, and left nothing in the car.

Good stay

Liked: Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Parking was good. Felt safe during the stay.
Disliked: Our restroom smelled like cigarettes. It was especially strong when we turned on the fan. We had to keep the door closed at all times. It was hard when we had to use the restroom.
